Dr. Marino earned his medical degree from the LSU School of Medicine in 2006 and completed his pediatric residency at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. He went on to serve as both a pediatric hospitalist and pediatric emergency room physician at Texas Children’s Hospital and later at Ochsner Hospital, where he gained extensive experience caring for children with complex and acute medical needs.
For the past seven-plus years, Dr. Marino has been in private practice, providing comprehensive pediatric care to families in the New Orleans area. His background in hospital-based medicine, combined with years in community practice, allows him to care for children across the full spectrum of health — from routine wellness visits to more complex medical and developmental concerns.
In addition to general pediatrics, Dr. Marino has a special interest in integrative and holistic approaches to children’s health. He is particularly passionate about supporting children with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, sensory processing challenges, and other neurodevelopmental differences. He also has a focused interest in PANS/PANDAS and immune-related neuropsychiatric conditions, working closely with families to develop individualized, evidence-informed treatment plans that address the whole child — including medical, nutritional, developmental, and behavioral factors.
A New Orleans native, Dr. Marino is proud to serve the community where he was raised. He lives in Lakeview with his wife and four children and understands firsthand the importance of accessible, thoughtful, and compassionate pediatric care. Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
